Two Offices Handle Your Property Taxes

San Patricio County has two separate offices for property taxes: one sets your value, and one collects your bill.

The San Patricio County Appraisal District sets the taxable value of your property. It is based in Sinton at 1301 E. Sinton St., Suite B. The appraisal district does not collect taxes. Its website is sanpatcad.org.

A separate office, the Tax Assessor-Collector, sends out tax bills and collects payments. That office is next door at Suite C, same address. If you think your value is wrong, you protest at the appraisal district. If you have a question about your bill or payment, contact the tax assessor-collector. Check the Texas Comptroller's county directory page to confirm current contact details, because staff and addresses can change.
