Johnson County Landowners Can Get Help Paying for Rainwater Harvesting
The Prairielands Groundwater Conservation District offers grants and rebates to help homeowners in Johnson County install rainwater harvesting systems.
Collecting rain from your roof can cut how much water you pull from a well or the city system. The Prairielands Groundwater Conservation District covers Johnson County and has offered help to pay for these systems.
The district has provided grants that cover up to 85% of costs. It has also offered rebates up to $500 per household.
