The Clear Lake Loop Is a Wildlife Viewing Drive Near Harris County

TPWD's Great Texas Coastal Birding Trail includes a Clear Lake Loop that passes through the Harris County area, offering access to Galveston Bay's bird life.

The Great Texas Coastal Birding Trail is a network of official birding sites along the Texas Gulf Coast. The Clear Lake Loop covers the area around Clear Lake and the upper reaches of Galveston Bay — including sites accessible from Harris County.
