Deer hunting seasons and limits for Knox County
Knox County falls in the North Zone for white-tailed deer, with a combined bag limit of five deer per hunter per season.
For the 2025-26 season, the white-tailed deer limit in Knox County is five deer total, with no more than two bucks. The general season runs from early November through early January, with separate archery and youth-only periods. Mule deer, javelina, quail, and wild turkey are also legal to hunt here under specific limits and seasons.
