Free Public Boat Ramps Serve Lake O' the Pines

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers operates free public boat ramps at Lake O' the Pines, including the Lone Star ramp open year-round.

The Lone Star boat ramp is open all year. It handles boats of all sizes and charges no fee. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers operates it. There are also other public access points around the lake.

Access to Corps of Engineers lakes is generally free to the public. But facilities and rules can change at any time. Before you go, check the TPWD lake access page and the Army Corps project page. Look for current ramp status, any camping rules, and day-use rules. That way you will not make a long drive to find a ramp closed or a rule changed.
