Who Handles Your Property Tax in Terrell County

In most Texas counties, two offices handle property taxes: one appraises your land, and a separate tax assessor collects the bill. In Terrell County, the tax assessor-collector's office does not collect property taxes. Instead, the Terrell County Appraisal District (TCAD) handles both appraisals and tax collection.
