Myers Park Has a Free Farm Museum That Shows Early Collin County Rural Life

Collin County runs a free Farm Museum at Myers Park. It preserves tools, equipment, and buildings from the county's farming past.

Myers Park includes a Farm Museum with old farming tools and structures. They show what the county's early economy looked like. Collin County was built on small family farms. Farmers mostly grew wheat, corn, and later cotton after the railroads arrived. The museum keeps that history alive.

The park is run by Collin County and is free to visit. It gives you a sense of what the land looked like before suburbs covered most of it. Check hours and location at collincountytx.gov under Parks and Open Spaces.
