You Need a Texas Fishing License to Fish in Potter County

Texas requires a fishing license for anyone 17 and older fishing in public waters, including Lake Meredith. Licenses are sold by TPWD (Texas Parks and Wildlife Department). You can buy one online or at many retail stores. Resident and non-resident rates differ, so check before you buy.
