Guadalupe River State Park Is Close to New Braunfels
Guadalupe River State Park near Spring Branch offers camping, swimming, tubing, hiking, and mountain biking along four miles of river frontage.
The park sits on the Guadalupe River northwest of New Braunfels. It has over 85 campsites, 13 miles of trails, and four miles of river for swimming and paddling. You can also get guided tours into the adjacent Honey Creek State Natural Area.
A Texas State Parks Pass covers day-use fees at all state parks, including this one. Book campsites in advance during summer — they fill up fast. Check the TPWD website for current fees, park hours, and reservation availability.
