Beyond Longview, Gregg County includes Kilgore, Gladewater, White Oak, Lakeport, Easton, East Mountain, Clarksville City, and Warren City. Kilgore and Gladewater both incorporated in 1931 during the oil boom. Each city has its own tax rate and ordinances. Several cities have their own school districts.
