Lake Casa Blanca: The State Park Inside Laredo
Lake Casa Blanca International State Park is a 525-acre park on a 1,680-acre reservoir inside city limits that offers fishing, camping, hiking, and water sports.
The park is at 5102 Bob Bullock Loop in Laredo. It sits just minutes from the Mexican border. You can fish, kayak, ski, swim, camp, hike, and mountain bike. Rangers lead programs on birding and geocaching. The park loans fishing gear for free at the pier.
Day-use fees are modest — a few dollars for adults, free for children 12 and under. Campsites have water and electricity hookups. Group pavilions can be reserved for large gatherings. Check the TPWD site for current fee schedules and availability before you go.
