Public Boat Ramps Give Access to Lake Conroe
Lake Conroe has public access points for boating and fishing, managed by the San Jacinto River Authority.
Lake Conroe is a 20,118-acre reservoir on the West Fork of the San Jacinto River. Public boat ramps and recreational facilities are available around the lake. The Cagle Recreation Area, located in the Sam Houston National Forest on the lake's shore, is one well-known public access point.
