The Parmer County Appraisal District sets the value of your property. It sits in Bovina — not in the county seat of Farwell. The appraisal district (the office that values property for tax purposes) handles homestead exemptions, protests, and farm valuations. Call them at 806-251-1405 or visit parmercad.org.

The Tax Assessor-Collector is in Farwell. That office handles vehicle registration and some other county business. But it does not collect property taxes. If you owe property taxes, you pay the taxing units directly or through the appraisal district. Before you send a check, call the appraisal district to confirm the current payment process.
