The Callahan County Appraisal District (CCAD) sets the value of your property. It is at 302 Chestnut St. in Baird. If you think your appraisal is wrong, this is the office you contact to protest. The Tax Assessor-Collector at 337 Market St. in Baird handles the actual bills and payments.
