Robertson County Has Two Separate Tax Offices

The appraisal district sets your property value; the tax assessor-collector sends the bill — they are two different offices in Franklin.

In Robertson County, two offices handle property taxes. The Robertson County Appraisal District (RCAD) decides what your property is worth. That value is used to calculate what you owe. A separate office — the Tax Assessor-Collector — actually sends your bill and collects the money.

If you think your value is too high, you dispute it with the appraisal district, not the tax office. The appraisal district is at 108 Morgan St., Franklin. The tax assessor-collector is at 315 N. Center St., Franklin. Check the Texas Comptroller's county directory for current contact details, since staff and phone numbers can change.
