Once DCAD sets your property's value, the Dallas County Tax Assessor-Collector calculates and collects what you owe. The office handles taxes for dozens of entities — including school districts, cities, and special districts — all rolled into one bill.

Property taxes are due by January 31 each year without penalty. After that, interest and penalties begin to accrue. You can pay online, by mail, or in person at 500 Elm Street, Suite 3300, Dallas. Contact the office at 214-653-7811 or at dallascounty.org/tax.
