Deer Hunting Bag Limits for Nacogdoches County

Deer hunting is popular in the Piney Woods of East Texas. For Nacogdoches County, the bag limit is 4 deer total per season across all legal seasons combined. Of those 4, no more than 2 can be bucks, and no more than 2 can be antlerless deer. There is also an antler restriction on bucks: only one of your two bucks may have an inside spread of 13 inches or greater.

A valid Texas hunting license is required, and additional tags may be needed for antlerless deer. Private land leases are common in this part of East Texas.
