Inks Lake State Park is in Burnet County, just east of Llano County, and offers year-round camping, fishing, and swimming on a lake that holds a steady water level.
Inks Lake State Park is located at 3480 Park Road 4 West near Burnet, about one hour northwest of Austin. The park borders part of Inks Lake on its eastern shore. The lake's water level stays relatively constant compared to other Highland Lakes, which makes it reliable for water recreation year-round.

The daily entrance fee for adults is $7; children 12 and under are free. Permitted hunts are also offered in season through a draw — check TPWD for current hunt details. A Civilian Conservation Corps history is embedded in the park's structures from the 1930s.
