Medina Lake Supplies Irrigation and Offers Bass and Catfish Fishing

Medina Lake, completed in 1913 on the Medina River, is a source of irrigation water and a known spot for bass and catfish fishing.

Medina Lake sits on the Medina River. It was completed in 1913. For over a century it has supplied irrigation water to farms in the eastern part of the county.

The lake is known for good fishing. Common catches include largemouth bass, white and hybrid striped bass, and catfish.
