O.C. Fisher Reservoir Is Inside San Angelo State Park
O.C. Fisher Reservoir sits on the west side of San Angelo and is accessible through San Angelo State Park for fishing, boating, and swimming.
O.C. Fisher Reservoir covers about 5,440 acres on the North Concho River and reaches a maximum depth of 58 feet. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers impounded the reservoir in 1953 for flood control. Anglers can fish for largemouth bass, catfish, and other species. The park provides boat ramps and loans fishing gear — rods, reels, and tackle boxes — at no charge.
Access is through San Angelo State Park at 362 S. FM 2288. Standard state park entry fees apply — $4 per adult. A valid Texas fishing license is required.
