Who Handles Property Tax in Frio County

Frio County has two separate offices for property tax: the Appraisal District sets your property value, and the Tax Office handles bills and payments.

Frio County Money & Taxes

The Frio County Appraisal District (FCAD) is the office that decides what your property is worth for tax purposes. It is located at 815 S. Oak St. in Pearsall. If you think your value is wrong, you file a protest with this office. The Texas Comptroller's county directory lists their contact details.

The Tax Assessor-Collector is a different office at 500 E. San Antonio St. in Pearsall. This office sends your tax bill and collects payments. You also register your vehicle here. These two offices are separate, so make sure you go to the right one for your question.
