Property Tax: Two Different Offices in Comanche County

Comanche County has a separate appraisal district and tax office — each handles a different part of your property tax bill.

The Comanche County Appraisal District sets the value of your property. That value is the basis for your tax bill. The appraisal district does not collect taxes. You can reach them at comanchecad.org or 325-356-5253.

The Tax Assessor-Collector is a different office. That office sends your bill and collects the money. If you have a question about your bill or payment, contact the Tax Assessor-Collector at 101 W. Central Ave., Suite 109, Comanche. Knowing which office handles which job saves you a trip to the wrong place.
