The Travis County Tax Office is at 2433 Ridgepoint Drive in Austin. It is the place to go for vehicle registration renewals, title transfers, and property tax payments. It also serves as the local TxDMV agent for the county, meaning it handles state vehicle services on behalf of the Texas DMV.

If your car passed inspection, you can renew your registration online at TxDMV.gov without visiting in person. For title transfers, first-time registrations, or cases that need paperwork reviewed, you will need to come in. Call (512) 854-9473 or visit tax-office.traviscountytx.gov.
