Who Appraises Your Property in Guadalupe County

The Guadalupe Appraisal District sets the value on your property each year, and that value drives your tax bill.

The Guadalupe Appraisal District (GAD) figures out what your property is worth each year. It does not collect taxes — that is a separate office. GAD just sets the value. The Tax Assessor-Collector uses that value to figure out your tax bill.

GAD has two offices. The main office is at 3000 N. Austin St. in Seguin. A second office is at 1052 FM 78, Suite 103 in Schertz. Both can be reached at (830) 303-3313. You can search your property and file protests online at guadalupead.org.
