Two Different Offices Handle Property Taxes in Limestone County

The appraisal district sets your home's value; the tax assessor-collector sends the bill — they are separate offices.

Many people get confused about who to call. The Limestone County Appraisal District (254-729-3009) decides what your property is worth for tax purposes. If you think the value is wrong, you protest with them. Their website is limestonecad.com.

The Tax Assessor-Collector's office (254-729-3405) is the one that actually collects your tax payments. Their office is at 200 W. State St., Room 107, in Groesbeck. Both offices are in Groesbeck but they are separate. Contact the right one for your question.
