Deer hunting rules in Parker County follow the North Zone

Parker County is in the Texas North Zone for deer, with a bag limit of four deer per season and a specific legal buck definition.

TPWD places Parker County in the North Zone for white-tailed deer. The bag limit is four deer total per season, with no more than two bucks and no more than two antlerless deer.

A legal buck must have at least one unbranched antler, or an inside spread of 13 inches or greater. Only one buck with a 13-inch spread may be taken per season. The general season typically runs November through early January, with separate archery and youth seasons. Seasons and limits can change year to year — always verify current rules at tpwd.texas.gov before hunting. A valid Texas hunting license is required.
