Two offices handle property taxes in Parker County

Parker County splits property tax duties between two offices — one sets values, the other handles registration and some collections.

Parker County Money & Taxes

The Parker County Appraisal District (PCAD) sets the value of your property each year. It is at 1108 Santa Fe Dr. in Weatherford. You go there to protest a value or apply for exemptions.

The Tax Assessor-Collector office is at 1112 Santa Fe Dr., right next door. It handles vehicle registration and some billing. The Comptroller's page notes that the tax assessor-collector does not collect property taxes in Parker County — that falls to PCAD and the individual taxing units.
