Two Major Interstates Cross the County

I-10 and I-35 both run through Guadalupe County, making it a crossroads between San Antonio, Austin, and Houston.

I-10 crosses the county east of San Antonio, passing through Seguin and connecting to Houston. TxDOT has an active widening project on I-10 between FM 464 and SH 130 in the county. Expect construction delays if you drive that stretch.

I-35 runs along the county's western edge near Schertz. It connects San Antonio to Austin. A large I-35 expansion project called NEX covers roughly 20 miles through Bexar, Comal, and Guadalupe counties. Both projects can affect your daily commute.
