Mule Deer Season in Ector County Is Short
Ector County is in the Trans-Pecos mule deer zone, where archery and general season combined run only a few weeks in fall.
Ector County sits within the Trans-Pecos mule deer zone. For the 2025–2026 season, archery ran from late September through late November, and the general season ran about two weeks in late November and early December. The bag limit is one buck for all seasons combined.
