Vehicle Registration
Renew your registration with Two Steps, One Sticker
Hunt County vehicle registration uses the Two Steps, One Sticker system, which combines the state safety inspection and registration into one annual process.
Two Steps, One Sticker means two things happen before you get your sticker. First, take your vehicle to a certified station for a safety inspection. Second, renew your registration with the county tax office or online. You need both steps done to get a valid sticker.
The Hunt County Tax Assessor-Collector handles registration. There is a main office in Greenville and substations in Commerce and Quinlan. You can also renew online at TxDMV.gov. Bring proof of insurance and your current registration paperwork. Check the Hunt County Tax Office site for current hours and fees.
