Hunting and Fishing Licenses in Titus County
You need a valid Texas hunting or fishing license before you go after game or fish in Titus County, with limited exceptions.
The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) issues hunting and fishing licenses. A hunting license is required for anyone — resident or not, any age — to hunt animals or birds in Texas, with a few exceptions. A freshwater fishing license is required to fish in public waters. Titus County has several lakes including Lake Bob Sandlin, Wright Patman Lake, and smaller reservoirs.
You can buy licenses online at tpwd.texas.gov, by phone at 800-895-4248, or at many local sporting goods and retail stores. TPWD also offers a digital license through the Texas Hunt and Fish mobile app. Check the current Outdoor Annual for season dates and bag limits, which change from year to year.
